With I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! sweeping the nation once again – and with North Manchester’s very own Aitch absolutely smashing it in the jungle – we have decided to bring a bit of that excitement closer to home… all for a good cause.
Cheering on Aitch in the jungle, we’re bringing the excitement home with our very own Housing Services Bush Tucker Challenge! This is fun way to come together in order to give something back to the community, raising much-needed support for St Clare’s Foodbank in Higher Blackley.
Why We're Doing It
As fun as the theme may be, the heart of this event is very real: helping local residents who rely on the foodbank. We’re encouraging everyone taking part – and everyone cheering from the sidelines – to get involved by donating food items or contributing to the collection on the day.
This is first and foremost a charity event, and we want to raise as much support as possible for an organisation that does incredible work in our community.
What’s Happening?

🏕 Housing Services Bush Tucker Trial – Wednesday 10 December
We'll be hosting a full-on Bush Tucker-style challenge at White Moss Road!
I’m A Celeb will have wrapped by then, but we know it’ll still be the talk of the town – especially if Aitch manages to become King of the Jungle!
Expect laughs, challenges, and a healthy dose of courage from those taking part… all in the name of charity.

🎨 Mark Fillingham’s Charity Beard Dye
In a brave (and colourful!) show of support, Mark Fillingham has pledged to dye his beard for charity.
We’ll be sharing photos of the transformation, so keep an eye out – and feel free to donate in honour of whatever bold shade he ends up with!
