We’re excited to share that our second Kindness Rail has launched this week in Cheetham, offering free adult winter coats for anyone who needs one.
This follows the success of our first rail at WMR, where we’ve already seen a strong uptake from residents collecting warm children’s coats as the weather gets colder.
To support the launch, 20 adult coats were delivered to Cheetham — with more to follow as donations continue to come in.
The early popularity of the WMR rail shows just how valuable this offer is to local families, and we want to make sure as many residents as possible can benefit.
The Kindness Rails are simple: take what you need, when you need it, no questions asked.
We’ll also be expanding the offer soon with additional pop-up rails at Newton Heath and Harpurhey Libraries to reach even more communities.
