We've launched a new Good Neighbourhood Management Policy, which sets out how we work with residents and partner organisations to help keep our neighbourhoods clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.
The policy explains the shared responsibilities of Housing Services and residents when it comes to looking after our communities. It covers a wide range of topics, including communal areas, grounds maintenance, waste and recycling, fly-tipping, graffiti, garden maintenance and environmental nuisance.
It also includes guidance on being a good neighbour, such as keeping noise to a reasonable level, parking considerately, cleaning up after pets and showing respect for those living around you.
By working together, we can help create neighbourhoods that people are proud to live in and ensure issues are dealt with quickly and fairly.
