We have to do it by law, but it could save your life.
Every year in the UK, 30 people are killed and many others made ill by carbon monoxide poisoning from faulty gas appliances like fires and boilers. Don’t take the risk.
What does a gas safety check involve?
We will come and service any gas appliances we’ve installed in your home.
We will also check the safety of any gas appliances you’ve bought yourself. We can service these for you too if you like, but for a fee – contact us for details.
The whole thing usually takes less than an hour.
We’ll write to you before your safety check to let you know when we’re going to come. If the date is no good, we can arrange for a better time, including Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
If you keep missing the appointment, or do not provide access, we will apply to Court for an Injunction Order to enter the property. All legal costs incurred may be recharged to you, and failure to comply with a Court Order can result in serious legal consequences.
This would be a last resort, but we must carry out the safety check. If we didn’t, we would be breaking the law.
To say thanks to all those tenants who keep their first appointment with us, we enter their name into a prize draw. Every month, a lucky person will win £300 shopping vouchers.
You are responsible for the safety of all gas appliances in your home.
We can offer you the service at a competitive price – contact us for details.
