Rent is increasing

advice is available - worried about the rent increase graphic

In April 2022, Manchester City Council rents will increase by 4.1%.

The increase is in line with government policy. It will help us to meet the rising cost of maintaining homes, delivering services and investing in properties.

Manchester City Council rents are the most affordable in the city but we understand that the increase will make things difficult for some residents.
